Privacy

The short version: this site collects nothing, and the app sends nothing about you anywhere.

This website

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no cookies, no forms and no accounts. Nothing on these pages runs a tracker, and there is nothing to sign up for.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may record the IP address of anyone who requests a page, for security and abuse prevention, under GitHub’s own privacy statement. That is the only record of your visit that exists, and we cannot see it.

The app

Bookbreaker runs on your Mac. Your bets, stakes, results and account notes stay in a file on your machine. There is no account, no sync and no upload, and the window itself cannot make a network request: it links no HTTP client and its content security policy permits no external address. A test in the source fails the build if either ever changes.

Two things can reach the internet, and only when you ask. The live board, when you turn it on, requests public prices from Kalshi and Polymarket — the same request a browser makes, carrying nothing about you. And if the app crashes it writes a report to your own disk, with passwords and keys stripped out; it never sends it. You can attach it to an email yourself if you want to.

Sportsbook accounts

Bookbreaker never asks for a sportsbook login and cannot connect to one. Your history comes in by importing the CSV your book lets you download, or by pasting a betslip.

Links to sportsbooks

Links on this site to sportsbooks are ordinary links. None is an affiliate link and none pays us.
