Responsible gambling

Bookbreaker is an analysis tool for adults 21 and over in states where sports betting is legal. It does not take bets, hold money or connect to any sportsbook account, and it is not affiliated with any sportsbook.

The National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). Call or text it 24 hours a day, or chat at 1800myreset.org. It is run by the National Council on Problem Gambling, and its older number, 1-800-522-4700, still works (read 2026-09-24, source).

1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) is the helpline of the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey. Many states still print it in their required messages, and it still answers (read 2026-09-24, source).

Limits and self-exclusion

Licensed sportsbooks offer deposit, wager and time limits, a cooling-off break and account closure; look under responsible gaming in your account settings. Most states with legal sports betting also run a self-exclusion list through the gaming regulator, which bars you from every licensed book in that state for the period you choose.

What the numbers here do not promise

Bookbreaker reports what a price implies and how uncertain that is. It cannot tell you that you will win. A locked figure holds only if both bets are accepted and stand, and a book can void, limit or refuse a bet. Bet only what you can afford to lose.
